Hydromedusae are a subclass within the class hydrozoan from the phylum Cnidaria – which also includes jellyfish, sea anemones and corals. This species uses its bell-shaped body to create jet propulsion and dash forward.
Jelly-like animals seem to manage well at rising water temperatures and carbon dioxide concentrations.
